Hannah had an existing Wix website, which didn’t really represent her business anymore after she had invested in some professional branding. I explained the benefits of moving over to WordPress which would allow for more scalability and control.
First of all we decided on the content that Hannah wanted to keep from her existing website and transferred it across to WordPress, this was mostly her photographs, which we sorted into different galleries, and her blog posts which we categorised.
After that we created a brand new look and feel for Hannah’s website, with the inspiration for the design coming from her new branding and photography style. We started off with a six page website, and then created sub pages for her individual galleries and services. A few months later Hannah had created two courses, so we created sales pages for those and links to Podia where they are currently hosted. We also embedded lead qualifying forms for all her services that feeds directly into her CRM system, which makes client onboarding a breeze to manage.
Hannah’s website was an absolutely joy to work on, I’m a huge fan of her photography style and she has done most of my branding photography. Her website is a great example of how your work can be showcased, alongside services, courses and a blog.
here’s what hannah said:
“I’m getting lots of enquiries from the people I want to work with at the venues I want to work at”
“I now have a lovely new website which is reflective of me and my style and much more endearing to my target customers. And I’m getting lots of enquiries from the people I want to work with at the venues I want to work at. I feel really proud to send them my website now.
Holly is BRILLIANT! She really knows her stuff technically but will explain things to the non techy in simple terms!”
